last summer I spent my summer in the bay area, portland and seattle. I can only guess why I didn't really post about it (except for
this). the days after a trip is always hard. physically you're back to your ordinary, but comfortable, daily life while mindfully you're still away. also life goes on even when you're not here so once back, all the things you've ignored are waiting to be done or finished or started and so easily you get back into the mundane rituals that make up life. also I think I was a bit trip-sick (like homesick but not).
last week I saw (via twitter) that
darcy had visited one of the pretty falls in oregon. it reminded me of the trip and I wanted to look at my own pictures of the day when I was there.

I love the Gorge. Back in college, I would drive to the Columbia scenic highway at least twice in the summer. Ahh, these photos make me miss Portland and beyond!
