just things
spacing is not my strong suit so please ignore the awful spacing between items. a few things that I thrifted the past two weeks. I love the petal bowl which I am using as a catch-all on my dresser. the two vases are just being used as decor. don't you love how dreamy the cat is?
I used to garden. used to meaning one summer several years ago. I educated myself and spent unnecessary amount of money on seeds, pots of all kinds, plants of all kinds, biodegradable seed pots, pellets, the list goes on and on. and for two months I had tomatoes, cucumbers and peas. then the sun killed all my plants since I was not there to water them every hour. oh and I used to be obsessed with succulents. I should find my old pictures. I still have some plants here and there but not quite as obsessed. this is one I picked up on clearance since it was dried up and dying. I love saving plants.
my sohh pouch that I currently use to store my camera(s). I saw this camera at the thrift store and had to get it because it is pretty much the slim angel wide camera. I did a test run and it works fine but just needs lots of light to take clear pictures.
I cross stitched this early last year and had planned to make a pillow out of it. but due to procrastination it's just been sitting in my closet. doesn't his eyes look darling? I don't know if I want to still turn it into a pillow. I'm thinking about reinforcing the sides and just use it as a tapestry piece.
I've been on a forever, or more like two months, mission to find any sweet valley high books while thrifting. I love how the illustrated cover screams 1980s. I missed the years of when sweet valley high was popular. back then I was reading baby sitters club little sisters and boxcar children. I'm finding the search quite difficult and this is my only find as of yet, but it's the thrill of the hunt I suppose. and below that is the first edition of point counter point by aldous huxley. I don't know what compelled me to buy it (maybe that it was $1?). and finally on top is my new shriner's fez necklace (there's one left!).
and I'll leave you with this great photo of a vintage shirt I will be posting up this week. how awesome is that?
