I have summer vacation brain. physically I'm back, but mentally my brain is in portland. so it'll be awhile before I get everything situated (blogging daily, updating shop, catching up on my blogs).. and sometime in between I will be updating the design of the blog.

and I want to go to a calm down party (seen on teenangster).

I'm Back!

it has been a little more than a couple of days since I've come back from my little trip and I must say it's hard getting back to the real world of daily mundane rituals of life. ok who am I kidding, I am glad to be back. as fun as my vacation was I knew my entire life back at home waiting patiently for me to return.

so while I get situated, here are some pictures from places all over northern california.

happy 4th of july!

happy independence day to all in the u.s.!

4th of july is definitely in my top holidays. no related stress, all relaxation and good food. things I thoroughly enjoy. my day will be spent having a bbq at a friend's place. I will be holding a big bowl of potato salad (my way!) and not wearing this dress (sad). but it's ok bc today is a day of fun and fireworks.

loup charmant

with the weather getting hotter, all I want to wear is breezy, airy cotton tops. loup charmant's pieces look like the perfect summer wear (especially to the beach or desert). and being that I love my basics, I want everything from them.

some updates

outside my window right now are birds chirping away in the lovely sun. little do they know that in several hours it will become hot and by the end of the weekend, it is going to be even hotter. but lucky for me I won't be here. I am heading up to san francisco to enjoy my 4th of july and the rest of the week. then I'm leaving california for another week. it's going to be a great, much needed two week off.

my etsy shop will stay open for about another week then it'll be closed for a week. I have deactivated some listings that I cannot take with me up north, those will become available again once I'm back from my getaway. the items you do see are coming up with me so you don't have to worry about shipping for those.

and lucky for you, I have added five new listings. if you haven't noticed I am really feeling florals and pinks lately. enjoy.
